Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport by your safari guide, who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. Dar es Salaam, the bustling port city on the Indian Ocean, serves as a gateway to some of Tanzania's most famous wildlife destinations. After checking in and settling into your accommodation, you can relax and unwind from your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to explore the city, taking in its vibrant mix of cultures and coastal charm. You can visit local markets, enjoy the oceanfront views, or simply rest in preparation for the exciting safari adventures ahead. The day ends with a peaceful overnight stay at your chosen hotel, where you'll get a good night's sleep before embarking on your safari the following day.
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or the airport and drive you to the train station for a safari to Morogoro Town, departing at 6:00 AM and arriving at 8:00 AM. Upon arrival at the SGR station, our driver will take you to Mikumi National Park, where you'll arrive at 9:30 AM. After check-in, you'll enjoy a guided game drive across the park, with a good chance of viewing various animals. The game drive will continue until lunch at 1:00 PM, and then resume until 4:00 PM. The day will conclude with a Maasai Cultural Tour, where you'll visit a local Maasai village to experience the culture and lifestyle. You'll return to the camp around 6:30 PM.

Start the day with breakfast at 6:30 AM, followed by a day game drive in Mikumi National Park, where you'll observe a wide variety of animals and birds in the easily accessible Savannah plains. After a midday lunch, continue the game drive until 4:00 PM. Then, begin the 1.5-hour drive back to Morogoro Town, where you'll check in at the train station. The safari back to Dar es Salaam departs at 7:00 PM, arriving at 9:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
